GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers took his long-standing photobombing tradition to a new level Sunday night: The Academy Awards' red carpet.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback, attending the Oscars with actress girlfriend Olivia Munn, was in the background during Ryan Seacrest's interview with rapper Common during the E! network's broadcast of the pre-awards show red-carpet festivities at the Dolby Theater. Rodgers mugged for the camera as Seacrest and Common chatted. (Common later presented the award for best song with fellow musician John Legend, who became friends with Rodgers several years ago.)

Rodgers is something of a photobombing expert, having sneaked into the background of the Packers' weekly pregame captains' photos for years, dating to when he was backing up Brett Favre. In fact, one Packers fan has compiled all of Rodgers' sideline photobombs on one website.

Rodgers spent most of his time before Sunday night's Oscars in the background, while Munn, who was one of the presenters, did red-carpet interviews.

Common, who was born in Chicago and is a fan of the Bulls and Bears, joked that he would exact revenge on the Packers quarterback.
