LeBron James busts a move while Cavaliers break a record

The Cleveland Cavaliers distanced themselves from the Atlanta Hawks early in Wednesday night's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals by hitting from beyond the arc. The Cavs sankĀ 18 3-pointers in the first half alone and broke the NBA record for treys madeĀ in a game -- regular or postseason -- with 25, winning 123-98 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

J.R. Smith led the way with seven 3-point makes on 13 attempts. The others Cavs players who made multiple 3s were Kyrie Irving was 4-for-5, James 4-for-6, Kevin Love 3-for-4 and Richard Jefferson 2-for-2. Dahntay Jones' one 3-pointer was the team's 24th, with 2:24 to play, and broke the mark of 23 previously held by the Orlando Magic (2009) and Houston Rockets (2013).
