          The Cleveland Cavaliers just needed a little push.

          Once the Atlanta Hawks took the lead with 4:27 left, the Cavaliers responded with a knockout punch to win Game 1.

          LeBron James is now 9-0 in his postseason career against the Hawks.

          This is the fourth time that James has started a postseason with five straight wins, the first time with the Cavaliers since 2009.

          Inside the run

          The Cavaliers outscored the Hawks 17-5 in the final 4:27 of the fourth quarter. Cleveland was 4-of-7 from the field and 8-of-10 from the free throw line. The Hawks missed six of seven shots from the field in the same span.

          James made two baskets, assisted on another and had two steals.

          The Big 3 shall lead them

          The Cavaliers won on the strength of James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. They outscored the Hawks by 21 points with all three of them on the court and were outscored by 10 points with at least one of them off the court. In the 7:26 that James was off the court, the Cavaliers were outscored by five.

          James finished with 25 points and five steals, only the second time in his career he has hit both benchmarks in the same game (the other was in 2012).

          Meanwhile, the Hawks' starting five struggled. They shot a combined 32 percent from the field, their worst shooting percentage in a game this season.

          Shutting down Korver

          Kyle Korver, who typically averages eight field goal attempts and five 3-point attempts per game, was held to one shot, a missed 3-pointer, in Game 1.

          It was his fewest number of shots in a game since Nov. 15, 2014, also against the Cavaliers. Prior to Monday's matchup, Korver had taken at least four shots in every game in which he played at least 37 minutes.

          Korver's lone field goal attempt was a contested jumper from the top of the key in which he first had to put the ball on the floor.

          How important is shutting down Korver's catch-and-shoot game?

          Over the past three seasons, the only player to make more catch-and-shoot 3-pointers in which no dribble was required is Klay Thompson.
