A look at Van Noy's rookie contract

Kyle Van Noy is having a big weekend. He signed his contract this week. He's getting married to former Miss Utah, Marissa Powell, over the weekend.

And their newlywed bliss will come with a good bunch of money.

Van Noy, the No. 40 selection of the 2014 draft out of BYU, signed a four-year deal worth $5,102,104. Included in that is a $2,030,620 signing bonus. The base salary of the first two years of his contract -- $420,000 in 2014 and $601,914 in 2015 -- are also fully guaranteed, leaving his total guaranteed money at $3,052,534.

He also has some bonuses worked into his deal. He has roster bonuses (all reporting bonuses) of $50,000 in 2015 and $100,000 in both 2016 and 2017. He also has workout bonuses of $25,000 each in 2016 and 2017, when he does not have guaranteed money.

Van Noy's cap numbers will be $927,655 in 2014, $1,159,569 in 2015, $1,391,483 in 2016 and $1,623,396 in 2017 according to ESPN Stats & Information.

The linebacker missed at least part of this week's organized team activities practice due to injury.

"He's going to be fine," defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said. "It's hard to tell right now with no pads and all this stuff, but he learns well. He can run, he has all the things that we thought when we drafted him."
