ESPN Radio to Broadcast 2014 MLB All-Star Game

Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, 2014 Gillette Home Run Derby on ESPN

ESPN Radio will serve as the exclusive, national radio home for the 2014 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15, at 8 p.m. ET with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. It marks ESPN Radio’s 17th consecutive broadcast of the Midsummer Classic. ESPN Radio’s Sunday Night Baseball team of Jon Sciambi and analyst Chris Singleton will describe the action with on-site studio host Marc Kestecher and reporters Peter Pascarelli and Tim Kurkjian.

The All-Star game will also be available on ESPN Deportes Radio with Jose Francisco Rivera, Renato Bermudez, Armando Talavera, Marly Rivera and Eduardo Ortega providing commentary. Both ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes Radio will also broadcast the 2014 Gillette Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14, at 8 p.m. ESPN’s Derby coverage details were announced earlier this week.

Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game

ESPN will televise the 2014 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game on Monday, July 14, immediately following the Home Run Derby. SportsCenter’s John Anderson, analyst Aaron Boone and reporter Tim Kurkjian will provide commentary. MLB Legends Andre Dawson, Ozzie Smith, Dwight Gooden, Mike Piazza, John Smoltz, Fred Lynn, Rollie Fingers, Rickey Henderson, Jack Morris, Kent Hrbek and Jim Thome will suit up in the game with rapper Nelly, actors James Denton, January Jones and Rob Riggle, TV personality Andy Cohen, Hip Hop star Fat Joe, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings, Zach Parise of the Minnesota Wild, Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx, Olympic Softball gold medalist Jennie Finch, Minneapolis-native Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals and more. Home Run Derby on ESPN, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes & WatchESPN

ESPN will televise the 2014 Gillette Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14, at 8 p.m. from Target Field in Minneapolis. Chris Berman will provide commentary with ESPN MLB analyst John Kruk as well as reporters Buster Olney and Pedro Gomez. This will mark the 22nd consecutive year ESPN has aired the Home Run Derby. The Derby will also be available on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and WatchESPN.

Baseball Tonight and SportsCenter

Baseball Tonight  will be on site at Target Field for pre and post-Derby telecasts on Monday, July 14, at 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. Host Karl Ravech will be joined by analyst, Hall of Famer and 12-time All-Star Barry Larkin, analyst Aaron Boone and ESPN MLB Insiders Buster Olney and Tim Kurkjian. The crew will reconvene following the All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15, for an additional telecast at 1 a.m. SportsCenter will also be on site with live segments beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday and continuing through the conclusion of the All-Star game on Tuesday evening.

Mike & Mike will broadcast live from Kieran’s in Minneapolis both Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15, from 6-10 a.m. Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic will also describe the action over the Target Field public address system for those at the stadium during the Gillette Home Run Derby.
