Sammy Watkins is one of the top players who will be selected in next week's NFL draft and is the consensus top receiver at the position.

He's taken to playing pseudo-prophet, too.

Watkins, who played three seasons at Clemson, tweeted Tuesday that he thinks he knows what team will take him in next Thursday's first round and that a team might end up trading up for him.

Even a team that might surprise people.

He wouldn't give any clues, though, as to who that might be.

Watkins has been vocal on Twitter throughout the pre-draft process, tweeting his last name on the backs of different jerseys and engaging with different fan bases who want him.

The 6-foot-1 receiver had 101 catches for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns last season for the Tigers.

One of the more vocal teams in pursuit of Watkins are the Detroit Lions, who would have to trade up from the No. 10 pick to draft the 20-year-old Fort Myers, Fla. native. The team brought Watkins in for a visit, worked him out privately and had dinner with him at his Clemson pro day.

The Lions are not typically this open about targeting specific players throughout the draft.

Scouts, Inc. has Watkins as the No. 3 overall player on their board, behind South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has Watkins at No. 2 on his board, behind only Clowney, who has been considered a once-in-a-generation talent on the defensive line.
