UPDATED: Game 1 of 2015 WNBA Finals Most-Watched Game Ever on ABC, Sees Viewership Increase from 2014

Game 1 of the 2015 WNBA Finals presented by Boost Mobile, which aired October 4 on ABC, resulted in the most-watched Game 1 ever on ABC and the most-watched Game 1 on ABC/ESPN networks since 1998. The matchup between the Indiana Fever and the Minnesota Lynx saw a +2% increase in viewership, with 571,000 viewers vs. 558,000 viewers in 2014, according to Nielsen.

ESPN networks exclusive coverage of the 2015 Finals featuring the Western Conference champion Minnesota Lynx and the Eastern Conference champion Indiana Fever will continue Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.  The series is tied following Minnesota’s victory in Game 2.  Commentator Ryan Ruocco and analyst Rebecca Lobo, with reporter Holly Rowe will call the game, with Carolyn Peck providing studio analysis from ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., studio.  Full Finals Coverage Details
