Ndamukong Suh at Lions' OTA

NFL, Detroit Lions

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Ndamukong Suh is officially at organized team activities with the Detroit Lions.

After coach Jim Caldwell said he anticipated Suh showing up this week and those thoughts were echoed by center Dominic Raiola on Monday night, Suh actually made an appearance Tuesday.

Pictures on the Lions' official website confirmed Suh was in attendance.

Caldwell, who said Suh did not address the team and had no expectation to address the team about his absence, looked as he expected he would entering OTAs.

"It was great to have him there, obviously," Caldwell said. "As you would anticipate, he's in impeccable shape and ready to go."

Suh is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is due to be an unrestricted free agent after the season if he does not come to an agreement on an extension with the club. He fired his old agent in January and hired Jimmy Sexton to replace him.

The Lions have remained confident publicly that they will get a deal done with the defensive tackle, who was the No. 2 pick in the 2010 draft. Suh has not talked publicly about his contract situation. Currently, he holds a $22.4 million cap charge against Detroit for 2014.
