Top-ranked Test Giants South Africa Face India in October 2 to December 2 Tour
ESPN Caribbean presents exclusive coverage of the 2015 Paytm Freedom Series which pits South Africa against India commencing October 2 from Dharamsala. The matches will air live via the ESPN Caribbean and ESPN2 Caribbean television networks, as well as on ESPN Play (www.espnplay.com) — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.
The Proteas, #1 in Tests at present and unbeaten on the road since 2006, open their tour with three Twenty20 (T20) clashes followed by five One-Day Internationals (ODI) from October 10 and four Test matches commencing November 4. A.B. De Villiers, the world’s top-ranked ODI batsman and second-ranked Test batsman, will lead the visitors in the 50 over format with Hashim Amla captaining the Test team and Faf du Plessis skippering the T20 squad. Along with the world’s leading ODI bowler, Dale Steyn, they will oppose Virat Kohli’s debut as Test captain with M.S. Dhoni retaining leadership of the ODI and T20 teams.
ESPN Caribbean will also air highlights of the various formats on selected days and fans can continue to follow all the action as ESPN Caribbean continues coverage of the major I.C.C. tournaments as well as the most anticipated encounters on cricket’s global stage.
