Reggie Bush expected to make 49ers preseason debut

The San Francisco 49ers play their third preseason home game at 9 p.m. ET Sunday at the Denver Broncos. Here's a couple of things to watch for during the game:

Why watch: While the Jarryd Hayne Hype Train continues to roll, Reggie Bush may actually see his first preseason action as a 49ers player. Same with Kendall Hunter, who sat out last season with a torn ACL. Of course, coach Jim Tomsula retains the right the change his mind, but Bush and Hunter playing would give the Niners a full stable of running backs for the first time this preseason.

Did you know: Sure, the 49ers and Broncos held a pair of joint practices this week in Colorado, but seeing each other for the third time in four days will not change the way the Niners approach the exhibition. Tomsula said all signs point to his team still treating the third preseason game as the dry run for a regular-season game with veterans getting extended playing time.
