President Obama, Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry Join E:60 Boston Marathon Special

ESPN’s award-winning news magazine show, E:60, will make its Spring 2014 premiere on Tuesday, April 15 (7 p.m. ET on ESPN) with “E:60 Presents Dream On: Stories from Boston’s Strongest,” a special hour dedicated to the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The show, hosted by award-winning journalist Bob Woodruff of E:60 and ABC News, will present five stories of survivors, narrated by celebrity voices of Boston including Academy-award winner Ben Affleck and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.  The program also includes a special message from President Barack Obama.

At 2:49 p.m, on April 15, 2013, as scores of spectators cheered on the Boston Marathon runners approaching the finish line, two hand-made bombs exploded.  In a split second, the lives of hundreds of people were forever changed.  One year later, E:60 presents a special program remembering the lives lost and paying tribute to those who survived, their journeys of perseverance, courage, strength and love in the past twelve months.

In addition, the show will feature a one-of-a-kind appearance from Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry who, along with the Southern California Children’s Chorus, perform a powerful version of “Dream On,” specifically arranged for the show:
