Lions draft outlook: Interior linemen

Two of the major college all-star games took place last Saturday. The Senior Bowl happens this Saturday with practices all week.

Many of the players selected in May’s draft will come from these three games or from underclassmen who decided the time was right to turn professional. Over the next two weeks, pairing with our position outlook series, we'll preview some players to become familiar with over the next four months as the NFL draft process crawls along.

Today continues with interior linemen. The Lions are likely not in the market for a guard -- at least not compared to some other issues with the team. They should, though, be looking for a center. So this list will primarily be centers.

Previous looks: quarterbacks; running backs; wide receivers; tight ends; offensive tackles.

NFLPA game:

  • Matt Paradis (6-2 1/4, 299, Boise State). Started last two seasons at center for the Broncos. Was sixth nationally in sacks allowed in 2012, according to the Boise State website. No. 13 center.

  • Jonotthan Harrison (6-3, 304, Florida). Started last two seasons at center for teh Gators. Can also play guard. No. 7 center.

Shrine Game:

  • Zac Kerin (6-4 1/2, 308, Toledo). Started past three seasons for the Rockets. Fun fact from his Toledo bio, he likes paintball and the Steelers. No. 11 center.

  • Dillon Farrell (6-4 3/4, 309, New Mexico) Started almost his whole career at center. Also played both left and right tackle. Versatile. No. 8 center.
