Kiper: SEC well represented among top DL prospects for 2016

The SEC has long been called a line of scrimmage league, so it's no wonder that the conference would boast some of the top defensive line prospects for the 2016 NFL draft.

According to ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr., Alabama has the No. 2-ranked senior (Jarran Reed) and the No. 2-ranked underclassman (A'Shawn Robinson) at defensive tackle. The No. 1 spot among underclassmen belongs to Ole Miss' Robert Nkemdiche, while the other end of the Egg Bowl rivalry, Mississippi State, is represented at No. 4 by Chris Jones.

While Kiper doesn't have quite so many SEC players in his top defensive end prospects, the league is still in the mix with Alabama's Jonathan Allen among his top five underclassmen.
