By the end of the week, we’ll know where the SEC’s 10 bowl participants will play this postseason.

We already know that four conference teams -- Missouri, Kentucky, South Carolina and Vanderbilt -- won’t make a postseason appearance, but multiple players on each team still delivered impressive individual performances even if their teams endured disappointing seasons.

In fact, there is more than enough talent among those four teams to produce a strong starting lineup, and we can prove it.

Here is an all-star team made up only of players from the SEC’s teams that didn’t qualify for bowl season.

OFFENSE

In this group, you have two of the SEC’s most dangerous all-around players -- South Carolina’s do-everything receiver Pharoh Cooper and versatile Kentucky running back Stanley Williams -- and arguably the conference’s most underrated skill player, Vanderbilt running back Ralph Webb.

Former walk-on Perry Orth gets the nod over Kentucky’s Patrick Towles at quarterback after capably taking over the Gamecocks’ offense when injuries sidelined starter Connor Mitch.

The offensive line features a group of longtime starters, including a pair of Missouri veterans -- Evan Boehm and Connor McGovern -- who have already accepted Senior Bowl invitations.

DEFENSE

This would be a star-studded defense, with multiple players on this list ranking among the conference’s top performers -- whether they play on a bowl team or not.

Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers could make a compelling argument as the SEC’s top defensive player this season, as he leads the nation with 152 tackles and was seemingly everywhere as the leader of a stout Tigers defense.

Brothers and teammate Michael Scherer are among four highly productive linebackers on the list, joined by South Carolina’s clutch defender Skai Moore and breakout Vanderbilt performer Zach Cunningham.

Missouri’s Charles Harris leads the defensive line after excelling off the edge in his first season as a starter. Harris’ 18.5 tackles for loss are tied for the SEC lead (along with Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett) and rank seventh nationally.

The secondary would be in good hands with Vanderbilt’s Oren Burks and Kentucky’s A.J. Stamps leading the way. Burks and Kentucky’s J.D. Harmon rank among the SEC leaders with three interceptions apiece.
