No. 2-ranked Isaiah Wilson releases top five

Isaiah Wilson, the No. 2 ranked prospect in the 2017 class, recently released his top five schools. The offensive lineman has had nearly every major program after him, but decided now was the time to trim his list.

Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and LSU are the final five that will vie for the 6-foot-6, 325-pound prospect.

Since he is from New York, there is no in-state school to fend off, but it does look as though Michigan is the early favorite. He has been to Ann Arbor and there is some positive momentum there for coach Jim Harbaugh with Wilson.

As his tweet mentions, he could make an early decision sometime in the summer or wait until signing day. The timing of his decision will likely impact if this is actually his final list or if a few other programs can sneak into the mix.
