ESPN to Exclusively Unveil College Football Playoff: Top 25 Each Tuesday Beginning November 3

November 3 & 10 Shows Extended to Hour-Long Presentations

ESPN’s exclusive reveal of the College Football Playoff weekly rankings – as determined by the Selection Committee – returns during College Football Playoff: Top 25 on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the start of a five-week run on consecutive Tuesdays through December 1. The first two shows, November 3 and November 10, have been extended to hour-long editions, with the remaining three airing for 30 minutes.

The discussion and debate show will be hosted weekly by Rece Davis. Analysts Joey Galloway and David Pollack will be in ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., studio, with additional analysis from Kirk Herbstreit and Paul Finebaum via satellite for the first rankings show. Also rotating in over the next five weeks will be analyst Danny Kanell.

The November 17 rankings will be revealed live from the United Center in Chicago, host to the annual State Farm Champions Classic basketball event. At approximately 9:30 p.m. in between the night’s two matchups, Davis will be joined by Herbstreit and Pollack to announce the latest College Football Playoff rankings in a special on-site edition of College Football Playoff: Top 25.

A final four-hour program announcing the College Football Playoff Semifinals pairings, the remaining New Year’s Six bowl pairings, and Top 25 rankings will air on Selection Day, Sunday, Dec., 6 at noon.

A part of the Internal Communications team at ESPN, I began with the network in 2010 as part of the College Sports PR team. Always an avid sports fan and not an athlete – I grew up a huge fan of the Hartford Whalers, while also watching my brother compete at different levels. I became the manager of several high school sports teams and continued that hobby into college. While at Quinnipiac, I worked in the Sports Information Department, which led me to a summer internship at the New Haven Ravens, a AA baseball team, and an eventual job with the Athletic Communications Department at the University of Connecticut. After my five-year stint at Connecticut, I spent six years as Director of Communications at the BIG EAST Conference in Providence, R.I. before joining ESPN.
