We've come to the midpoint of the season, so we're taking a look at the top players in the SEC to this point.
OFFENSE
QB Chad Kelly, Ole Miss: Kelly leads the SEC with 2,234 passing yards and 16 touchdown passes. He also has four rushing touchdowns.
RB Leonard Fournette, LSU: He leads the nation with 1,202 rushing yards and is tied for the lead with 14 touchdowns. Fournette is averaging 8.01 yards per carry and 200.33 yards per game.
RB Derrick Henry, Alabama: Henry is second in the SEC with 901 yards and 12 touchdowns. He has reached at least 120 rushing yards four times this season and has scored in every game.
WR Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss: The leg looks fine as Treadwell leads the SEC in receptions (49) and receiving yards (654) and has four touchdown catches.
WR Pharoh Cooper, South Carolina: Cooper has 40 catches for 587 yards and four touchdowns, and has also carried the ball 14 times for 88 yards and another score.
TE Hunter Henry, Arkansas: Henry leads all SEC tight ends with 286 yards and is averaging 13.6 yards per catch. He's an excellent target both inside and out wide and is a heck of a blocker.
OL Vadal Alexander, LSU: He's one of the nation's best tackles and easily could have left for the NFL draft before the season. He has been an absolute beast for the Tigers this year.
OL Fahn Cooper, Ole Miss: In place of the suspended Laremy Tunsil, Cooper has more than held his own so far at left tackle for the Rebels, and will be even better with Tunsil back.
OL Sebastian Tretola, Arkansas: He's just a monster inside and has been a big reason for Arkansas' success running through the middle of the field.
OL Greg Pyke, Georgia: One of the SEC's best big men, Pyke has been great inside for the Bulldogs and has helped create many a hole up front for Bulldogs backs.
C Ethan Pocic, LSU: Before this weekend's win over Florida, Pocic was credited with a team-high 63 knockdowns and had been the SEC lineman of the week twice.
AP Christian Kirk, Texas A&M: The freshman has been one of the nation's most exciting players. He has 609 receiving yards, 528 total return yards, 33 rushing yards and six total touchdowns.
DEFENSE
DL Myles Garrett, Texas A&M: Garrett has been nearly unstoppable, registering an SEC-high 8.5 sacks along with 11.5 tackles for loss. He also has forced three fumbles and blocked a kick.
DL Robert Nkemdiche, Ole Miss: He doesn't have sexy numbers, but Nkemdiche has been absolutely dominant up front and is playing the best football of his career in 2015.
DL Charles Harris, Missouri: Shocker, a Missouri defensive end is playing well. Harris has a league-high 12.5 tackles for loss and also has five sacks.
DL Jarran Reed, Alabama: He has been fantastic this season and is second on the team with 34 tackles but has consistently directed plays to teammates.
LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama: If you're looking for your prototypical NFL linebacker, Ragland's your man. He makes plays all over the field, as 34 of his 59 tackles have been solo stops.
LB Kentrell Brothers, Missouri: Another linebacker who can cover a tremendous amount of ground, Brothers leads the SEC with 91 tackles and has registered 15 or more four times.
LB Skai Moore, South Carolina: Mr. Versatile can cover, stop the run and get to the quarterback. Moore has a league-high 44 solo tackles and leads all linebackers nationally with four interceptions.
DB Vernon Hargreaves III, Florida: Arguably the nation's best cover cornerback, Hargreaves has three interceptions and has made it tough for quarterbacks to consistently throw to his side.
DB Trae Elston, Ole Miss: The hard-hitting, free-roaming safety has four interceptions. His first two picks went for touchdowns.
DB Eddie Jackson, Alabama: He has been a ballhawk over the last three weeks, grabbing four of his league-leading five interceptions, including taking two back for touchdowns.
DB Tre'Davious White, LSU: His numbers are low because quarterbacks don't throw at him. He's been excellent in press-man coverage and has eliminated his side of the field for most of the season.
SPECIAL TEAMS
K Trent Domingue, LSU: More than just a touchdown-scoring kicker, Dominigue has made all seven of his field-goal attempts, including a long of 45 yards.
P Johnny Townsend, Florida: Townsend is averaging 44.3 yards per punt, has downed 13 inside the 20-yard line, has a long of 61 and has boomed 12 kicks of 50-plus yards.
RS Evan Berry, Tennessee: He has been fantastic on kickoff returns, averaging 39.3 yards per return (550 total yards) and has two touchdowns.
