Will Dolphins' Jarvis Landry get over/under 80 receptions?

Training camp is here for the Miami Dolphins. With that in mind, let’s take a look at key players who must have a big year for the team to be successful.

Next up is Dolphins second-year wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

Over/under total: 80 receptions

The case for over: Landry already surpassed that mark in his rookie season. He led the Dolphins in 2014 with 84 receptions, most of which came from the slot. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's best throws often are between the seams where the tight end and slot receivers do most of their work. Landry has a great feel for the managing through traffic and owns the best hands on the team. He should be even better in Year 2 with more experience.

The case for under: Getting more than 80 receptions will be tougher this year in Miami. The Dolphins have a plethora of capable weapons in Landry, Kenny Stills, Greg Jennings, first-round pick DeVante Parker and former Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron. Tannehill is expected to spread the ball around to his various weapons. He won’t be locked in to one receiver. Miami’s passing game should improve this year. But it wouldn’t be a surprise if no Dolphins receiver recorded more than 80 catches this season.
