Starting today, cloud-based live TV service PlayStation™Vue adds even more value to its lineup of sports and entertainment programming with the launch of Longhorn Network in Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. The University of Texas sports channel will be available in those states as part of PlayStation Vue’s Elite multi-channel plan, which costs $44.99 monthly.

Longhorn Network – most recently made available to customers in select cities in Texas and Oklahoma – joins the previously announced channels in the lineup from Disney and ESPN Media Networks on the pioneering live TV service from Sony Interactive Entertainment.  The launch also follows PlayStation Vue’s nationwide expansion. Users will be able to watch Longhorn Network content using PlayStation Vue’s intuitive interface and unique features such as simultaneous streaming and unmatched cloud DVR.

Subscribers also have access to apps from Disney and ESPN Media Networks simply by logging in with their PlayStation™Network email address and password.  Popular apps such as WatchESPN and WATCH ABC are available for use with their PlayStation Vue subscription at no additional cost. Access to Longhorn Network on WatchESPN will launch at a later date.

The following channels will be coming soon to PlayStation Vue: ESPN3, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Classic.

PlayStation Vue is accessible through PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, as well as iPad® and iPhone® through the PlayStation Vue mobile app. Google Chromecast is also supported via compatible iOS devices.
