Teddy Bridgewater surprises 6-year-old who invited him to his birthday party

MINNEAPOLIS -- Just more than a year ago, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater surprised a Louisville fan by showing up at her doorstep to take her to her high school prom. This year, Bridgewater answered the wishes of an even younger fan.

Bridgewater showed up on Wednesday night at the house of Obadiah Gamble, a 6-year-old Vikings fan who posted a hip-hop video on YouTube last week inviting the quarterback to his birthday party. The song, called "Hey Teddy," had nearly 10,000 hits on YouTube as of Wednesday night, and Bridgewater had retweeted several of Gamble's invitations to his party in the past few days.

On Wednesday night, Bridgewater went to the Gambles' house to take pictures with Obadiah and meet him in person.

Gamble's party is scheduled for Sunday, when Vikings players are off for the weekend after the first set of organized team activities, but even if Bridgewater isn't present for the party, he gave the charismatic little boy a night to remember on Wednesday.
