The Cavaliers Tried To Amuse Fans With A Domestic Violence Video

The Cleveland Cavaliers made a case for being the most tone-deaf team not only in the NBA but in the entire world Wednesday night.

In an attempt to spoof the UnitedHealthcare ad that features a couple dancing to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from "Dirty Dancing," the Cavs completely missed the mark with an in-game video that made light of domestic violence.

In the video, a man wearing a Cavs shirt violently slams a woman wearing a Bulls shirt to the floor. With a shot of the woman lying on the couch and icing her head, a voiceover says, "When it's playoff basketball time, you have to be all in, so don't make the same mistake she did."

To recap: Not only is it OK to abuse your girlfriend if she's a fan of a different team, but it's also her fault. Um, OK, Cavaliers. That's pretty much the most obtuse thing EVER.

You can see the video for yourself using the link below, but be warned, surely even Floyd Mayweather would find it offensive.
