It's a super-special podcast edition of Max y Marly as they build up to the Golden Super Bowl, the 50th Super Bowl, where the Carolina Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos. Hosts Max Bretos and Marly Rivera are talking with the ESPN Deportes voice of Super Bowl XL, Alvaro Martin. They discuss how the love for football has grown among the Hispanic population and the reasons involved in that progress.

There's also celebration of the achievements of Panthers coach, Mexican/Puerto Rican Ron Rivera and mention of key Hispanic players on both teams. Of course, there's also analysis of the teams in general and debate about what will be the key elements of the championship game.

Yet the highlight of the podcast is the show's interview with the first Hispanic coach to win the Super Bowl, Tom Flores, who is of Mexican descent and grew up working the fields around Fresno, California. Flores explains how he grew up playing multiple sports, but eventually found his way into football. He credits his "big hands" for helping him become a success in the game as a quarterback.

Flores also gives his view on Hispanics in the game of football today, and acknowledges that Rivera may face some of the same issues today as a head coach that he took on in his day. It's a look back at the past and a glimpse of the future in the podcast that previews the Super Bowl de Oro.
