          Cyclones surprise Mitchell Meyers on final day of chemo

          Iowa State defensive lineman Mitchell Meyers underwent his final chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma on Friday.

          There, his teammates and coaches waited to surprise him and cheer him on.

          Despite the chemotherapy, Meyers didn't miss a summer workout with the team. He is expected to undergo radiation in his hometown of Houston, then rejoin the Cyclones at some point in the fall.
