Call it a comeback, Adrian Gonzalez already working on 2016

He has yet to find out who will be managing him next year, but Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has started focusing on next season already. Gonzalez tweeted out a picture of him at Freddie Roach's famous Wild Card Gym in Hollywood post-workout, with a banner for the upcoming Miguel Cotto-"Canelo" Alvarez fight in the background. Gonzalez, whose off-season training focuses a lot on boxing, may have some divided loyalties in who to cheer for in that contest.

Cotto and Alvarez meet Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for Cotto's WBC middleweight belt.

Concentrating on boxing may help distract A-Gon from the uncertainty surrounding the Dodgers. While former manager Don Mattingly is now with the Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals have recently signed Dusty Baker to take charge there, Los Angeles hasn't yet settled on a new manager.
