Goodbye Combat Duck, hello Oregon Pioneers.
Oregon’s latest football uniform is a tribute to the state’s history. The helmet features a silhouette of Lewis and Clark alongside the Duck, looking through a telescope and pointing west. The uniforms feature a topographical map (with each individual uniform highlighting a unique portion), a 33-star flag and an acknowledgement of the Oregon Trail.
The Ducks (3-2 overall, 1-1 Pac-12) will wear the uniforms Saturday against Washington State (2-2, 0-1).
