Duke's Chase Jeter, other top recruits still waiting for close-ups

Last week, we went through 10 freshmen who have surprised after one month of college basketball -- and it’s time to look at the other side. For a variety of reasons, it’s still too early to deem newcomers as “disappointments” or “underachievers” at this point in the season. Kentucky’s Skal Labissiere has been knocked for not living up to the hype yet, and his numbers have been boosted by performances against bad teams, but he’s still a few steps ahead of the guys on this list. Some freshmen went to school knowing they would play limited minutes for a season or two, sitting the bench behind established veterans at their position. With that said, there are certainly some highly-touted recruits that have not produced noteworthy numbers just yet; will that change? Let’s look at several former top-50 players who are still waiting to make their biggest impact.
