DeAndre Levy stands atop a plane somewhere in the world

Over the past two years, linebacker DeAndre Levy has been known as the most adventurous of the Lions in terms of traveling the world.

It has led to admiration from teammates, who want to see the world as he does. That included a trip into the Amazon in 2013 and more international travel last offseason.

Although it is unclear where in the world Levy is at the moment, he shared it with the world on Instagram from his own unique viewpoint. That point of view? Standing on top of a biplane.

Want to understand Levy's travel jones? Here's what he wrote on Instagram two months ago:

"Not ready for the offseason yet, but last year's included riding horses in exotic locales, hiking and sleeping atop a dark cold mountain for two nights, volcanic craters, sledding down and active volcano, cockfights, and saving a woman from a rushing river," Levy wrote. "Embracing what's next."

This has not been Levy's only adventure this offseason. Last month, he posted a photo of himself staring out into the middle of a forest. The picture prompted linebacker Stephen Tulloch to reply on his Instagram, "What the hell you doing man!"

Levy has been one of the top 4-3 outside linebackers in the league the past two years, including being second in the NFL in tackles in 2014 (151) and tied for second in the league in interceptions in 2013 (six).
