          Brett Favre's best Packers moments: His first win

          GREEN BAY, Wis. -- With Brett Favre going into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday, we count down the best and worst moments in his 16-year career with the organization.

          Here's best moment No. 5: Favre's first victory.

          It was Sept. 20, 1992, when Favre relieved an injured Don Majkowski in the first quarter of a game against the Cincinnati Bengals and led the Packers to a 24-23 victory after they started the season 0-2. Favre threw the game-winning touchdown pass to little-known receiver Kitrick Taylor with 13 seconds remaining.

          Favre threw for 289 yards and had his first two NFL touchdown passes in that game against the Bengals, and Majkowski never got his job back.

          Favre started the next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, again leading the Packers to a victory. He went on to start every game for Green Bay through 2007. Of all of Favre's records, his streak of consecutive games started (253 straight in the regular season with the Packers) might be the one he likes best.

          "The first game I ever played in, in my opinion, gets overlooked probably way more than it should," Favre said during a recent interview with ESPN.com. "How can I not put that high on the list? It was ugly but so beautiful at the same time. Who would've thought it that it would be 16 years later before I ever left the field?"
