“SEC Nation” Finishes out October with Trips to Alabama and Kentucky

SEC Network’s traveling pregame show has slated its campus stops for the last two weeks in October, visiting Tuscaloosa, Ala. (Sat, Oct. 24) and Lexington, Ky. (Sat, Oct. 30). Saturday, Oct. 24 will mark SEC Nation analyst Greg McElroy’s first Alabama homecoming since joining the show earlier this year. McElroy won a National Championship for the Crimson Tide in 2010 as quarterback under head coach Nick Saban. Similar to last year, the show will be surrounded by the tailgating scene across from Denny Chimes, in front of Moore Hall.

SEC Nation returns to Kentucky on Saturday, Oct. 31, live from the stadium’s “Purple Lot” (off Alumni Drive, adjacent to the football practice facility construction)  utilizing Commonwealth Stadium as the show’s backdrop. Both shows begin live at 10 a.m. ET.

Each week SEC Nation aims to embed itself in the fandom of a Southeastern Conference game day. Fans are invited to participate in the live show and tailgate alongside host Joe Tessitore, analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Greg McElroy, as well Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung. The expert panel – which holds a Heisman Trophy, three national championship titles and five SEC Championship wins– discusses the morning headlines, matchup previews and shares a taste of each school’s tailgating scene. SEC Nation is live from 10 to noon ET every Saturday.

The show is currently in its second season and has visited every SEC school.
