2015-16 schedule highlights: Bulls

As usual, the Chicago Bulls' schedule is filled with a lot of national-television appearances and anticipation. Let's take a quick look at 10 of the most intriguing games on the schedule:

Oct. 27 vs. Cleveland: LeBron and the Cavaliers come to the United Center to tip off the first regular-season game of the Bulls' season. This also marks Fred Hoiberg's first regular-season game as head coach of the Bulls.

Nov. 20 at Golden State: The Bulls get their first crack at the reigning NBA champions. One of the Bulls' best wins of last season came in Oakland in an overtime win over the Warriors. This game marks the second on a short, four-game, circus trip.

Nov. 30 vs. San Antonio: A lot of intriguing matchups in this one, including how Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah will fare against Tim Duncan and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Dec. 10 vs. Clippers: Doc Rivers comes home to Chicago as the leader of a team that believes it can win a title this season. Derrick Rose vs. Chris Paul is always a fun matchup to watch.

Dec. 25 at Oklahoma City: Rose and Jimmy Butler vs. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. That will happily keep NBA fans on the couch on Christmas Day.

Jan. 12 at Milwaukee: The Bulls' first trip of the season to Milwaukee comes in the middle of their only four-games-in-five-nights stretch of the season. Hopefully, Rose and Jabari Parker will get to have another showdown of proud Simeon alums.

Jan. 28 at Lakers: The Bulls usually get two trips to Los Angeles during the year, but this game against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers is followed three days later by another one against the Clippers at the Staples Center. The seven-game trip starts in Los Angeles and ends Feb. 8 in Charlotte.

Feb. 18 at Cleveland: After more than a week off at the All-Star break, the Bulls open up the second half of the season with a road game against LeBron and the Cavs.

April 5 at Memphis: All-Star brothers Pau and Marc Gasol face off as the Bulls close down what figures to be a tough last stretch of the season.

April 11 at New Orleans: The Bulls' last road game of the regular season comes against Chicago product Anthony Davis. After getting crushed at home by the Bulls last year, the Pelicans hope to ride into the playoffs on a high note.
