'Mighty Mouse' an expensive bet at UFC 186

Another UFC event has fallen victim to the dreaded injury bug, but this time a rare legal intervention also robbed the card of a marquee fighter. The bantamweight championship and return of Rampage Jackson will all have to wait, but in the meantime, UFC 186 will go forward in Montreal with the flyweight title on the line. And despite the lack of name-brand UFC fighters, there may be plenty of highlight-reel potential on the main card.

Demetrious Johnson will enter the night as a huge betting favorite, a position in which he has been already. Before that, Michael Bisping will look to rebound from his loss to Luke Rockhold against another middleweight who also recently suffered a tough loss to top talent, CB Dollaway.

Sprinkled on the prelims are some experienced veterans pitted against each other, while several notable newcomers will debut on the main card, including former hockey enforcer Steve Bosse's first UFC appearance. In the Maldonado-Bosse and Makdessi-Campbell matchups we have pairings of fighters who all like to strike, so don't blink once the action starts.

Now let's look closer at the co-main and main events, plus some alternative betting angles elsewhere on the card.
