The Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement with reserve point guard Shane Larkin on a two-year, $3 million contract that includes a second-year player option, sources confirmed to ESPN.com.

Larkin, 22, had interest from several other teams, according to sources, and turned down more money from one of those teams to remain in New York, where he played for the Knicks last season and averaged 6.2 points and 3.0 assists in 76 games.

The Nets now have four point guards on their roster: Deron Williams, Jarrett Jack, Steve Blake and Larkin, who was a first-round pick in 2013.
