Former Big East rivals Connecticut and Syracuse are finalizing a future home-and-home series, a source told ESPN on Friday.
Syracuse would visit UConn in 2016, with the return game in 2018 at Syracuse.
The schools played nine consecutive seasons from 2004-12 as members of the Big East Conference until Syracuse left for the ACC in 2013. UConn is now part of the American Athletic Conference.
UConn leads the series by a 6-3 margin, but Syracuse won the last meeting 40-10 in 2012.
