Chicago Blackhawks fan Christina DeVries has never been able to watch her favorite team rush down the ice or fire a puck into the back of the net. The 16-year-old was born blind. But after hearing the Blackhawks' "What's Your Goal" commercial on TV one day, she knew what hers would be -- experiencing the thrill of hockey at United Center. The team granted Christina's wish and chronicled the heartwarming result in this video:
I think we all owe a thank-you to Christina and the Blackhawks for reminding us of the goodness and pure joy that come from sports.
