Las Vegas has a line on Schwartz job status

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- For all the questions and wondering about the status of Jim Schwartz as the coach of the Detroit Lions, there is a new factor to consider in the "will-he-be-fired-or-not?" discussion.

Las Vegas.

Bovada has now officially placed odds on whether or not Schwartz will be the head coach of the Lions for the first game of the 2014 season. A "Yes" bet is currently at +200 (or 2/1 odds). A "No" bet is at -300, or 1/3 odds.

So Vegas seems to be leaning on the side of Schwartz being let go in Detroit as well.

The other coaches that Vegas has bets on are Dennis Allen in Oakland, Jason Garrett in Dallas and Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan in Washington.

Bovada also has the Lions at 66/1 odds to win this season's Super Bowl.
