Morning take: Will Tim Tebow make Pats?

Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC East:

  • Will third-string quarterback Tim Tebow make the New England Patriots' 53-man roster?

Morning take: The Patriots usually do not keep three quarterbacks. So Tebow would be an exception if he made the team. Versatility and Tebow's ability to play other positions could factor into the decision.

  • The New York Jets are already having issues at running back. Tailback Mike Goodson was put on a Did-Not-Report list and Joe McKnight failed his conditioning test.

Morning take: This is not a good start for the Jets' offense. This is a group that is expected to struggle, and now two running backs are already missing the start of training camp.

Morning take: I’m a little surprised the Bills weren’t more aggressive in free agency after losing guards Andy Levitre and Chad Rinehart. Doug Legursky was a late addition who could end up winning the job.

Morning take: Clabo was cut by the Atlanta Falcons and signed by Miami after Jonathan Martin’s move to left tackle. He's been a solid veteran for several years, and the Dolphins hope Clabo has more left in the tank.
