New Content and Update Feature will Enable Cricket Fans to Enjoy Their Favorite Sport Like Never Before

In an effort to provide quicker, compelling and relevant content to cricket fans across the world, ESPNcricinfo – the leading digital cricketing brand – and Google have teamed up to launch Now cards for cricket. This launch is another way for cricket fans to receive real-time and relevant updates on their favorite sport, anytime and anywhere on their mobile devices.

The Now cards for cricket provide users with the latest information directly in the Google app, based on their preferences set within the ESPNcricinfo app. Using preferences such as favorite teams, players and events, relevant and focused Google Now cards are displayed on the user’s handset, keeping the cricket fan up to date on news, scores and other cricket content

The new feature is available globally in the Google app for Android devices. To get this feature, users must download the Google app from Google Play and activate preferences from within the ESPNcricinfo app.
