Yanda, McClain put on PUP list

The Baltimore Ravens placed two starters, guard Marshal Yanda (shoulder) and linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal cord contusion), on the physically unable to perform list as the team begins training camp.

Yanda and McClain won't be able to practice until they're removed from the list. If they remain on the PUP list to start the regular season, they would have to miss at least the first six games of the regular season.

Yanda, a two-time Pro Bowl lineman, had offseason shoulder surgery. He missed the team's minicamp but was considered ahead of schedule.

McClain was sidelined for the final three games of the regular season and the entire postseason after suffering a spinal cord contusion. He has no restrictions on his exercise regimen but he hasn't been cleared to resume football activities.
