Dolphins CB Cortland Finnegan, TE Charles Clay not expected to play

The Miami Dolphins (6-5) will travel to play the New York Jets (2-9) on ESPN's "Monday Night Football."

Here is Miami’s final injury report:

Out: CB Jamar Taylor (shoulder), LB Jonathan Freeny (hamstring)

Doubtful: CB Cortland Finnegan (ankle), TE Charles Clay (hamstring, knee), G Nate Garner (illness)

Questionable: LT Ja'Wuan James (neck)

Probable: WR Mike Wallace (chest), C Samson Satele (foot), RB Lamar Miller (knee) G Daryn Colledge (back), WR Rishard Matthews

Analysis: The Dolphins, as expected, are thin at cornerback. Taylor is out and Finnegan is not expected to play. The Dolphins have limited options to replace Finnegan. Potential starters at corner include R.J. Stanford and rookie cornerback Walt Aikens. Fortunately for Miami, the Jets are the NFL's worst-rated passing team and the Dolphins will face embattled quarterback Geno Smith, who hasn't started a game in weeks. Clay missed last week’s game against the Denver Broncos and couldn't make it back for Monday's game. Backup tight end Dion Sims will get his second start of the season. James is listed "questionable," but practiced all week with a stinger. Miami certainly needs him in the lineup.
